I have used DimDim on several occasions and have found it to be a no-brainer alternative to WebEx and GoToMeeting, both of which I have used in professional settings. Notably, the company also offers a self-hosting Open Source solution that can be branded with your own logo.

Hi Jim,
As you use online collaboration tools frequently with customers, would you consider checking out a free desktop sharing tool, Mikogo?
Mikogo is a very easy-to-use, fast and secure app for a range of purposes including web conferencing, online meetings, presentations and remote support.
I think the last one, remote support, will appeal to you. With Mikogo start a meeting from a Mac or PC, and then assist others via remote support and take remote keyboard and mouse control or their screen, regardless of whether they join your meeting from a Mac or PC. This is ideal for helping others or when you wish to work together on the same document over the Web.
Btw, you can invite up to 10 people to participate in your Mikogo meeting and view your screen. Other features include switch presenter, application selection, recording, whiteboard, file transfer, meeting scheduler, back monitor, and more.
I hope you'll have a moment to drop by our website and check out our app: http://www.mikogo.com I'd be interested in hearing how you find Mikogo, so feel free to drop me an email if you have any questions.

Regards,

Jim-

Thanks for the great mention of Dimdim. We are working on a remote control capability for our next release, which will give you the ability to pass control of the screen to the presenter.

Thanks!
